Founded in 1885, the Lehigh chapter of Delta Upsilon was proudly the first residential fraternity on “The Hill.” Delta Upsilon is unlike any other fraternity you will find at Lehigh in that we are a non-secret organization and all of our beliefs and rituals are open to members as well as non members. Our chapter boasts a large number of leaders in academics, athletics, and campus involvement such as varsity team captains and Dean Scholars. Delta Upsilon is not simply a place to live for three years of your college life, but it is a close brotherhood where you will find lifelong friends and endless opportunities. Our chapter has maintained excellent relations with the university while hosting enjoyable social events. This past summer our chapter was nationally recognized for our outstanding success in several categories. The Delta Upsilon commitment to “Building Better Men” is evident in the high standards we expect from our brothers and ourselves. Our members are dedicated to creating a brotherhood that is relevant to society and fostering positive change in the community. The men of Delta Upsilon have made great achievements in the world and we are proud to say we have had more brothers on the cover of TIME magazine than any other Fraternity. In joining DU, you are making your first step to realizing your full potential as well as making a significant stride in becoming a “Better Man.”
